“Mountain Seascape” by Alexander Master Artist Tom Anderson (click for a larger image)
You see why Tom is the instructor in our “You Can Paint” Art Course. Tom has spent over twenty-five years studying Bill’s techniques and teaching them to thousands of students. Tom has also studied the secrets of the old masters. He understands the elements that make great art and teaches those secrets to his advanced students. We will be coming back to this painting in the future because it is painted in the style of the old masters. We’re going to show you how it’s done and why you should paint this way.
Tom is also a master of color. Guess how many colors Tom used in this painting? Students in our “You Can Paint” art course learn how to mix colors without wasting paint. We only use four colors (and white and black) in the five paintings that make up our beginner’s course. We feel very fortunate that we have Tom to guide our students to the ranks of elite artists.

So there were six paints used in ‘Mountain Seascape’ and two of them were Ivory Black and Titanium White… Which were the other four?

I would love to have some art like this in my home. I grew up on the coast and have since moved inland and really miss it. It would be great to have some pieces that remind of the beauty of it in my home.
