Here’s one of Bill’s secrets that he didn’t have time to go into a lot of detail on his show — mixing on the canvas. You think all he mixed was Magic White™ and Prussian Blue? Not so! Bill mixed many colors on his canvas.

Also, pay attention to how he loads his big brush. Notice how hard he presses the brush into the palette. He’s driving paint deep into the bristles to load up that brush with paint. These are the kinds of details you pick up in Bill’s videos with multiple viewings.
