Thank you so much for this article. I have wondered for years whether the world had gone mad in their heads about this stuff they call “Modern Art”. Saw a painting once of a dog poop, it sold but my lovely landscape never got a look in… There were many other beautiful paintings there as well. But only the dog poop sold… Anyways to me it looked like a dog poop lying on the sidewalk! So many years ago that was, but today it’s generally so that this so called “Modern Art” sells and our really decent, we’ll planned, we’ll executed paintings remain unsold. I agree that we artists need to do something to rectify this problem…
