It never ceases to amaze us how fluent Bill is with the fan brush. Watch closely in this video how Bill uses every part of the brush. Don’t know if you can see it, but when he pulls the paint across the tree trunk, he starts his stroke by pressing a bit to the right, bending the bristles of the brush and then pulling them across the tree trunk. This is a very delicate move designed to make the paint look like snow.

As one that thought ‘me do oil paintings’, you got to be kidding. Well did venture into do it after seeing Bill’s TV show’s.
Did I get to be good? Nah, but I did get to a point that I could only say ‘WOW’ look at this.
