“From the light into the dark!”

Notice how much paint Bill is laying onto this canvas. Bill was a master of using thick paint. We’ve talked before about the three-dimensional effect he gets in his paintings by using his paint almost as a sculpting medium. Freeze frame this video at about the :23 second mark and look at the layers of paint he has on this flower!
