We are glad you are here! We believe that it is totally possible to cut through the noise. Many of our artist friends have done just that.
For over 40 years Alexander Art has helped millions of people learn to paint. We understand the struggle that comes with learning something new. We also know the rewards that come with achieving great things and that is why we do what we do.
I think of Dave. He had been painting for a few years but felt like there was much more to learn. He found himself painting the same things over and over and didn’t feel like he was growing. He asked the same question. Is it possible to cut through the noise to learn to paint? What he meant by that was there were so many different artists to follow. So many styles! He was so happy when he discovered our clear path to learning to paint. Unfortunately, he had a few things to unlearn but… he persisted and now just a year or two later he is creating paintings he never thought possible.
Carol always wanted to paint. She decided when her kids were grown it was time. So she reached out to us and got started the right way, right off! Sometimes it is easier when you have nothing to unlearn. Either way though, having a step by step process that leads you at your own pace will make you a better artist.
In our last email we mentioned Tom Anderson. Why are we so excited to tell you more about Tom? Well Tom studied Bill Alexander more than anyone I know AND he has spent his career studying the old masters as well. He is the guy to bridge the gap between Bill Alexander and the old master’s techniques that Bill knew so well.
So keep an eye on your inbox because you will receive some videos by Tom Anderson and Bill Alexander that will help you understand what to do about the three common problems beginning artists face.
Happy Painting!
Laurie Anderson
PS: We’ve learned few things from our 40 years experience of teaching people to paint. For anyone willing to put in the effort we have the path forward. No need to no longer rely on guesswork and struggle.
