The touch-ups are finished…well…just one more!
We began this painting on July 31st. For the last three and one-half months we broke down the painting into small bite-sized steps so you could see, more clearly, Bill’s techniques. Was it worth it? Well…judge for yourself. All those posts generated over 2,500 Facebook shares. That’s very heartening to us and we plan to continue providing tips.
In our blog post this week we talked about studying from a master and we can think of no better master than Bill. His videos are like a great book. To get the most out of a book it’s a good idea to read it more than once.
Fortunately, Bill’s videos are short! 27 minutes short! It’s very easy to watch Bill’s videos over and over when they are that short. Every time we watch them we see something new we missed the last time we viewed them. Sometimes we have to “slo-mo” the video or “freeze-frame” it step-by-step to see some of the nuances of Bill’s brush strokes. When you have access to the full video, like our Silver members do, you can do this type of analysis on your computer or tablet.
So…now that this series is over, we’re going to take a break of a week or so. We’ll start up with more video clips after Thanksgiving.
By the way, if you’re not yet a member of our Silver membership, we suggest you sign up while the charter enrollment period is still open. We’re offering one heck of a deal that will never be repeated. Not only are we offering Silver membership at the absolutely lowest subscription rate, we guarantee that it will never increase as long as you are a Silver member! That’s right…two deals in one…low cost…guaranteed forever!
Oh yeah…almost forgot! Bill is not our only artist! We have Seascape specialist Buck Paulson, Landscape architect Robert Warren, Floral designer Lowell Speers, Diane Andre and our own Tom Anderson! Why learn from one when you can learn from many…all master artists…all master teachers!
