Big Brush – Slo-Mo

Bill was the master of the “big brush”. In fact, other artists couldn’t handle that brush as well as Bill, so they modified it.

Here’s a nice up-close, slow motion example of how Bill painted in his rolling hills. Notice the delicate touch he uses on the canvas. Listen to the brush caressing the canvas.

It’s not the tool that matters, is it? It’s how you use it!
