I  could write a book about why Tom is our instructor for the Alexander Master Class, but  I won’t.  Please watch the above video and you will begin to understand.  If you have seen some of our Daily Video Tips by Tom Anderson, you already have a good idea.  For those who are wondering, I will list some reasons below.

Why Tom Anderson?

• First, he is not my brother-in-law.  Many people think we are related but we just share the same last name.
• Tom studied Bill Alexander more than anyone on the planet that we know of.  He will talk about how he studied him in the video.
• Tom was working full time while he was learning to paint.  He sacrificed his sleep, night after night to study what Bill was doing.
• He was certified by Bill as an Alexander Certified Instructor.  More importantly Tom caught Bill’s vision and passion for teaching others to paint when he met him in Salem Oregon. Tom literally felt Bill’s energy pass to him while Bill looked him straight in the eyes and asked him to carry the torch.  Tom was never the same after that.  His passion and desire to teach people occupied his days and nights.  It was all he could think about.
• Lynda, Tom’s beautiful wife was right by his side while they built a successful art business in California.  Often working seven days a week he taught everyone and everywhere he could.  He taught large groups and individuals with the same passion that Bill had.
• Tom had to come up with simple ways to teach large groups.  Because he studied Bill like none other, he learned how to paint like Bill.  Bill painted differently in his studio, then he did for television, but that story is for another day.
• Tom discovered that Bill used very little paint and that was one of the secrets that people couldn’t see because he painted so fast on TV.  This is something Tom teaches in our Master Class.  Imagine, not having to buy tubes of paint all the time!
• Tom spent his lifetime perfecting his painting and teaching ability.  Now his life work is captured on video and available for you so you can shave years off the learning curve.
