I bet you’ve been in this situation. You’ve been looking at your “finished” work but just can’t quite put your finger on what is missing. Having someone else look at it can be helpful. But what is most helpful is to have someone, with 57 years of painting experience look at it and offer suggestions.

Did you know that every Tuesday at 10:00 am pst there is a group of us from across North America and beyond that gather by internet (computers, phones, tablets)to learn from Buck? Artists of all abilities submit photos of their paintings and Buck reviews them on a live zoom class. Can you imagine how much learning and growth can take place when we hear Buck’s comments about what we are doing right, and how we can improve our work?

One of the benefits of this class is that it is recorded so we can watch it over and over as we touch up or repaint our paintings. Even if we can’t be there while it is being recorded, we benefit. Another advantage is that we can learn to become better artists watching Buck’s critiques even if we don’t submit our own paintings. Those that do submit their paintings and take Buck’s advice, progress quickly. You should see the before and after photos!
