Bill teaches us that we are the leader of light!
Today’s Video Tip by Bill Alexander shows us how to add brilliant light to the sky. We slowed this down so we can see what Bill does with his brush.
Points To Consider:
- Bill loads the brush with bright yellow (Cadmium Yellow and Titanium White)
- His brush is heavily loaded.
- He starts where he wants the sun to appear the brightest.
- He presses very hard to begin with.
- The longer he is on the canvas, the less paint there is in the brush.
- Bill creates a misty look by mixing the sun color with the sky background.
- His touch is lighter the further he is from the sun.
Bill was the master! He loved to teach people to paint because he believed that life is better when we paint! More than ever now is the time to create goodness, on and off the canvas!
Happy Painting!
