How Does A Master Artist Critique His Work?
Today’s Daily Tip comes from Buck’s weekly critique class. Buck painted this painting for one of our FREE Workshops.
The question was asked, “Buck how do you critique your own paintings?” So Buck gave us his answers.
Points To Consider:
- He looks at his paintings in a mirror.
- He turns it upside down.
- Buck takes his painting downstairs where he doesn’t have paint. He studies it without being able to make changes.
- Buck shows us a few changes that he made on his seascape.
- He says when there is a glean on the water there should be a diffused light above it so there is no hard line.
Enjoy!
Happy Painting!
