Yellow, Red, and Blue Will Do! Well and a little Violet!
Today’s video is just a little bit longer and shows another one of Tom’s fun tricks. I remember my surprise when he used this technique when we were filming this show! All of these years, and I hadn’t seen it done that way!
KEY POINTS TO WATCH FOR:
- Tom has properly applied the Magic White ®.
- He lays the paint onto the canvas generously and strategically based on where he wants his lights and shadows.
- He uses one brush, and one kind of stroke to create the deepest layer of the foreground.
- Tom is careful not to over-blend to keep the color variety.
- He uses the best, clear medium on earth! Alexander Art’s Magic Clear.
- He wipes his brush out often as he picks up the paint from the canvas.
- He has a lot of fun painting and teaching it to us!
Please enjoy today’s short video.
Happy Painting!
