Sharon continues to show us how to paint a beautiful Florida Sunset
Sharon adds the distant foliage and waterlines today.
Points To Consider:
- There is a thin coat of wet paint already on the canvas.
- Sharon keeps the distant foliage loose. If the distant trees are too detailed they won’t look like they are in the distance.
- The closer something is to the viewer, the more detailed it appears.
- Sharon paints right over the birds so it doesn’t look like she painted “around” them.
- The contact paper protects the birds.
- She lays the waterlines down with the Palette Knife and then softens them with the Hake Brush (Bunny Brush.)
- She wants the water to appear shiny and wet but not “sharp.”
