Be the kind of artist that isn’t afraid to make things better.
Today’s Video Clip comes from our Free Workshop with Buck Paulson. We have a saying at Alexander Art “Is it ready for the wall?” We are working on a new series with Buck where he has all the time in the world to paint a painting. He knows it is done when he is happy enough with it that he would hang it on his own wall. So we all strive to make our own paintings “Ready for the Wall.”
You will see that Buck is starting with a beautiful painting that he had previously determined was “wall ready.” He hung it on his wall and then studied it every time he passed by. Well, he decided it wasn’t “wall ready.” So today we will watch him change the things he wasn’t happy with.
In the first part of the video, Buck will explain what he is going to do. We wanted you to see the results so we decided to speed things up.
Points To Consider:
- Don’t be afraid to make a change.
- Have the courage to cover things up and move them around.
Happy Painting!,
Laurie and Dawn
