Bill Alexander and Diane Andre were good friends and shared a passion for teaching others to paint.
Diane continues teaching Bills technique in Today’s Video Tip. She is showing us how to paint clouds but really tells us so much more!
Points To Consider:
- Diane is painting on a wet canvas.
- The Background has a thin coat of Magic White.
- She adds thick Titanium White to the canvas with her Fan Brush to form the clouds.
- She creates random strokes by changing the direction of her brush.
- Diane also varies the amount of paint she leaves on the canvas by varying the pressure she applies to the canvas.
- Her Blending Brush is clean and dry. She lightly goes over her clouds to soften (hypnotize.)
- The paint is thick and dry so when she hypnotizes the clouds the sharp edges are knocked down but the shape of the clouds remains.
Our passion is to help people learn to paint because we know that when people are painting, life is better! We are all about a better life! Let us know how we can help you become the artist that you are meant to be!
Happy Painting!
