Almost done! Using the same color as the mountain highlights, Bill lays in the distant shoreline. Don’t overdo the shoreline – it’s very far away.
Notice how Bill “edges out” the tips of the waterlines. They should all disappear to a point.
One final sweep or two with the big brush to blend out your waterlines and you’re done!
Don’t forget to sign your painting!

Bill what is your magic white made of ? Is it a mixture of titanium and zink white, it appears so white ? Carlene–carleneebr@aol.com
Dawn Croman says
Our Magic White™ is a proprietary formula. We can tell you it is an oil based medium made from our proprietary Magic Clear™ oil, and other environmentally friendly components.
It contains no thinners or solvents.
It appears so white because we use the highest quality ingredients available. Unlike paints made with Walnut and linseed oil Magic White™ will always remain a bright white because its made with our Magic Clear™ medium, it will never darken.

Hi !
Are the 12 seasons of Bill’s shows on PBS included if a member pays the whole year membership in advance ?
Thanks !
Laurie Anderson says
Jorge,
The membership includes our entire library. There may be a few shows that may not be there but yes everything should be included. Thanks for asking!

would Bill have fired a little more white in his clouds that we didn’t get to see they looked like they were more mixed with the dark color at the end.
Laurie Anderson says
Linda,
Every time Bill painted a painting for PBS, he painted it again, step by step for the companion book. Sometimes we would show that painting at the end of the show because Bill had more time to paint in the studio for the still photographer. This was always tricky because Bill did not like having to paint the same painting again. He would want to change it. We would ask him to stay as close to the original as possible but that was hard for him to do. He was just too creative for that!
Happy Painting!
